How to Relieve Pre-Period Constipation

Pain during the menstrual cycle can turn the experience into a major ordeal to contend with month after month. When you add in the often painful symptoms that can happen pre-period, including breast tenderness, headaches, and constipation, period-related pain can start to take over your life. If you find yourself dealing with painful, period-related symptoms, especially during the time in between your periods, it might be time to start looking for a way to prevent these symptoms—rather than just stocking up on medication to deal with the onslaught of symptoms month after month.
